Which is better? Driving lessons with parents or
lessons with a Driving Instructor?

You are likely to drive far more with your parents/guardians than with a qualified driving instructor. The practice you get with your parents is invaluable. Can you pass the Test without any professional lessons? Maybe. Maybe not. Numerous times I have had lessons with someone who has just failed their test and hadn't had any lessons beforehand. When asked why they failed they often shrug and mumble ... "Not sure really. The testing officer said that I was an ok driver but just missed checking my blindspots or didn't signal correctly etc."  So we have a drive around and sure enough - they are decent drivers. Control is good. Observation ok. Curteous. Careful. Watchful. But there is no way that they can pass a test because they often lack fundamental road code knowledge. Why? Because their parents lack the same information.
